Following is what I wrote as a liner note and intro for FIJI’s album…

“Reflecting on his new album, “Born and Raised II – The Rebirth,” Fiji likes to think of this album as a “coming around in full circle.” A “greatest hits” from the diary of his life (if you will). Each song resonates a special meaning to him as a musician, as an artist, and as a man, and all reserve a special place in his heart. The honesty in his vocals is as pure as the pride he feels in his heritage, his Polynesian lineage, indigenous roots… simply stated…his life. These 17 new songs serve as reminders, as well as tributes to this beautiful history in which he was “Born and Raised.” They are as much for him, as they are for his fans.”
